  • Painted tongue. To about 24". Brightly patterned trumpet shaped flowers are borne on bushy, upright, very sticky plants in early to mid Summer. Plantings may not be successful under extremely hot conditions. When well grown, the rich colors, often filigreed with gold interveining, offer some of the most spectacular patterns available in an annual flower.
