Rudbeckia hirta 'Indian Summer'

  • Black-eyed Susan. Coarse, fast-growing annual or biennial, from 12" - 30" depending upon cultivar, occasionally persisting as a short-lived perennial. Many shades and combinations of yellow, gold, orange bronze and mahogany with traditional black or sometimes green eyes, in a range of heights and flower forms including double and semi-double types. Many of the popular cultivars are tetraploids, although naturally diploid strains are most often recommended for use in wildflower mixes.
