Phlox drummondii '21st Century Mixed'

Drummond Phlox is native over a wide area of the SE coastal plain from Texas to Georgia, and has been recently refined into a first class bedding annual with predictable germination rates and improved landscape performance. Both open pollinated and F1 hybrid types are available. Flower forms varies from single to double and even starred, with deeply notched and incised petals. Even older strains are highly beautiful, with clusters of flowers in an extremely wide range of jewel-toned solid and blended colors However, they are more often used as components in wildflower mixtures or for retail packet sales.
