Leucanthemum superbum 'Crazy Daisy'
- Shasta daisy. Tetraploid versions of L. vulgare. SYN Chrysanthemum x superbum, Chrysanthemum maximum. A wide range of heights and habits, with flower formsranging from from simple white daisies to fully double or crested. The relatively short-lived plants may reseed or can be propagated by basal stem cuttings and division. Best in well-drained soil. Though primary ray color is white, forms with yellowish rays have gradually been improved upon and a host of new introductions show promise. Summer blooming, some over a relatively long season if deadheaded.
