Kalanchoe 'thyrsiflora'

  • Flapjacks. Native to Africa & Asia. Up to 24" high rosettes of succulent, round foliage produce a 36" stalk which dies back after flowering. The terminal inflorescence is densely clustered, thyrse form, of waxy silver green buds that open to small, yellow, urn shaped blooms with recurved petals. Stamens are in 2 whorls of 4. Flattened round leaves are green to gray green with red margins, and covered with powdery white bloom.
