- Buzy Lizzie (green leaved types). The typical form of the popular bedding annual for shade and semi-shade, a range of flower forms, flower sizes and plant habits are now available. To about 24" though many are shorter. Will tolerate full sun only in relatively cool, moist climates. Double and semi-double forms, along with an improved range of colors and patterns, have also been introduced. Like I. Hawkeri, this has been crossed with yellow flowered species in some very successful efforts to expand the range of color and form. Perennial in tropical climates.
