- Bacopa is a large genus of weedy plants spread nearly worldwide, with a few subgenera (Sutera and Jamesbrittenia) having emerged recently as component and basket annuals.
- Spreading to mounded plants with masses of small flowerrs, often with a contrasting yellow eye, in white, rose, lilac and violet shades.
- Prefers even moisture, and flowering will shut down if run too dry.
