Fuchsia trailing 'Dark Eyes'

  • Descended from F. Magellanica, F. fulgens and others, the modern trailing Fuchsia is a Victorian favorite enjoying increased popularity as a summer annual or tender, shrubby perennial, particularly where its needs for cool soil and suffuicient moisture can be met. Height, habit and spread vary widely between cultivars. Upright, shrubby and semi-hardy (Zone 7) forms to 48" or more tall are also grown, and some cultivars are particularly heat and sun tolerant. Color range is extensive but excludes yellow.
  • Hardiness Zone: 9-11
